Mohamed Salah, jogador do Liverpool, abandonou o estilo cabeludo e compartilhou uma foto nas redes sociais exibindo um corte de cabelo bem curto, com a cabeça praticamente raspada.

A mudança surpreendeu seus seguidores, que não esperavam por isso. A publicação teve mais 1 milhão e 200 mil curtidas e muitos comentários.

– Que p… Mo(hamed), porque cortaste o cabelo? Bem, está com bom aspecto – disse um comentário, em inglês.

– O verão chegou, tudo bem, até o outono seu cabelo vai crescer – brincou outro seguidor. Lembrando que no hemisfério norte o verão começa no meio do ano.

– Vai para o exército ou o quê, rei? – disse um comentário em árabe, em tom de brincadeira.

–  O Rei do Egito – elogiou outro seguidor.

O egípcio está de férias após levar o Liverpool para mais uma Champions League, graças ao terceiro lugar garantido pelos Reds na Premier League. O jogador chegou ao time inglês em 2017 e se tornou ídolo do clube. Antes, ele passou por Roma, Fiorentina, Chelsea, Basel e El Mokawloon.
